The First Customer McLaren Senna in North America

  • July 18, 2018

Behold: the first McLaren Senna for customer delivery in North America. I shot this for McLaren the day after it arrived in the States and the day before it was delivered to its owner. The spec is crazy.  Besides the uhhhh “unique” green/white color combo and chrome (!) wheels, this car includes the “visual carbon” paint option, so the carbon fiber weave is visible through the paint over the entire car.

The warehouse/studio space I used in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn had this cool skylight that I wanted to incorporate in the shots. The light coming through didn’t come in at an angle that would help illuminate the car, so we used the effect of how the light beams hit the wall behind instead.
