2020 McLaren GT In New York

  • February 15, 2020

Here are some shots I did for McLaren to help launch their new GT in America. The GT is the more “civilized” McLaren: cleaner lines and stitch-ier leather than its more hardcore brethren, but essentially you’re still sitting inches above the pavement inside a slightly modified version of the carbon fiber tub that underpins most of their current production cars. There’s still a terrifyingly powerful twin turbo V8 behind your head (borrowed from the 720s, but detuned and making *only* 620 horsepower) which means the GT may look classy, but it’s still a monster. You might be able to fit some extra luggage in one of these, but don’t expect it to be anything less than a straight up McLaren supercar. No S-Class has seats this hard.

Big thanks to my buds Brian and Tim for their photo assistance on these, and McLaren for the luxurious time they allowed us with their beauties.
