Large And In Charge: 1968 Chevrolet Impala Fastback

  • November 28, 2014

There’s just something damn impressive about a full size fastback coupe.  Like the Ford Gran Torino, or the Dodge Charger, this 1968 Chevrolet Impala has all the style of the smaller pony cars of the era, but trades speed for swagger.  This super-duper clean example was spotted in Toronto.  It was absolutely ruling this street corner.  Normally I don’t get too excited about usual cliche shiny big wheels/old car look, but I’ll give it up here: these chrome 5-spokes have the right amount of old-school Cragar style and look just about perfect.
